Gordon & Macphail Connoisseurs Choice 14 Year Old Linkwood Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 2009 700ml

Nose: Red apple, clove, and ginger spice give way to faint notes of beeswax polish. Sweet brown sugar and subtle orange peel are followed by licorice.

Taste: Rich stewed apple infuses with raspberry and tart grapefruit. Dark chocolate comes to the fore alongside Brazil nut, followed by black pepper.

Finish: Full, long and spicy, with lasting forest berries and oak.
